The Landmarks app lets you explore a curated collection of more than 300 custom-designed 3D models that are available on Apple Maps, organized by city and category. Each Landmark is an immersive animated landscape that you can interact with.
The app’s curated collection is regularly updated with new models as they become available.
Some of the app’s features include:
- Cinematic Mode: Enable Autoplay & Hide the UI
- Animation Controls: Play & Pause, Time travel
- Day and Night themes
- Camera pitch control via the gyroscope (only on iOS)
- Browse by City, Category, or view Randomized Landmarks
- Synchronization of favorite landmarks via iCloud

Landmarks is available on iOS, iPadOS, macOS and tvOS platforms in all territories supported by the App Store.

Pricing
Landmarks is a free app.
However, you can become a Landmarks Supporter via an in-app purchase, which unlocks Cinematic Mode and the Gyroscope feature.
About the makers
Landmarks was designed and developed by Montréal-based developers André Baev and Simon Gardinier.
Landmarks has a companion app, Preflight that provides 3D map views of major airports, as well as essential information about airport terminals, runways, ATC frequencies, aircraft stands, weather, and more.
Currently working on a simple app featuring all of Apple's 300+ Detailed City Experience 3D models currently available in Maps. The curated collection will be updated as new models appear.

Detailed City Experience is supported by devices running iOS/iPadOS/tvOS 16.0 or macOS 13.0 or later, and with A12/M1 chips or newer.
